Located in the heart of Mississauga, Canada, the Absolute World Towers are a striking pair of residential skyscrapers that have become a landmark of the city’s skyline. Designed by MAD Architects, the towers feature a unique twisting form that creates a sense of movement and dynamism.
The two towers, known as the Marilyn Monroe Towers due to their curvaceous and sensuous form, are 56 and 50 stories tall, respectively, and contain a total of 1,200 residential units. The towers are clad in a sleek, reflective glass exterior that creates a striking visual effect as the sun reflects off their surfaces.
What sets the Absolute World Towers apart from other skyscrapers is their twisting and undulating form. Each floor of the towers rotates one degree from the one below it, resulting in a 209-degree twist from the base to the top of the towers. This twisting motion creates a sense of dynamic movement that is unparalleled in other skyscrapers.
The towers also feature a variety of amenities for residents, including a fitness center, indoor pool, and rooftop terrace. The towers’ location in the heart of Mississauga also provides easy access to shopping, dining, and other cultural attractions.
Overall, the Absolute World Towers are a stunning example of contemporary architecture that pushes the boundaries of what is possible in skyscraper design. With their unique form and striking visual impact, they serve as a testament to the power of architecture to create dynamic and inspiring spaces.
